Are You Still Procrastinating Your To-Do’s Without Doing it?

Habt Ihr auch in diesem Jahr ständig Eure To-Do‘s verschoben, und letztendlich doch nicht gemacht?

Ich lese hier im Internet allenthalben und höre es zudem in meinem realen Leben: Auch wenn das zu Ende gehende Jahr schön war, viel von dem, was geplant war, wurde immer wieder aufgeschoben und letztendlich doch nicht gemacht.

Natürlich ist es verständlich, dass sämtliche Vorhaben, bei dem in der Tat verbreiteten Stress und den vollgefüllten Terminkalendern nicht einfach so ohne Weiteres erledigt werden können.

Allerdings habe ich mir zu dieser Tatsache Gedanken gemacht, und ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es einen zusätzlichen Grund für das Aufschieben gibt.

Ich habe nämlich das Gefühl, dass auch hier die Angst eine große Rolle spielt, und zwar insbesondere die Angst davor, Fehler zu machen oder zu scheitern. 

Wenn auch für das Aufschieben tatsächlich die Angst verantwortlich sein sollte, dann finde ich das höchst bedauerlich, denn ich finde es nach wie vor nicht nur menschlich, sondern vor allem auch sehr lehrreich Fehler zu machen.

Daher möchte ich mich bei Euch allen nicht nur von Herzen für Eure Treue bedanken, und wenn Ihr selber einen Blog habt, auch für Eure Kreativität und Ausdauer – ich wünsche uns allen außerdem von ganzen Herzen ein wunderbares, gesundes Neues Jahr, in dem uns nichts davon abhält, unsere Vorhaben in Angriff zu nehmen und auch zum Abschluss zu bringen!

Wie sieht Eure Bilanz für das zu Ende gehende Jahr 2017 aus? Warum schiebt Ihr Dinge auf? Was wünscht Ihr Euch für das Neue Jahr 2018?

Und zum Glück habe ich es nicht aufgeschoben, letztendlich unter Ausschluss diverser anderer Alternativen am Heiligen Abend mein blaues Samtkleid anzuziehen - und so wie es momentan ausschaut, werde ich immerhin an Silvester mein schon lange geplantes Outfit tragen …

Rutscht gut in das neue Jahr und feiert es mächtig!

Did you also procrastinate your to-do's again and again this year, and in the end you didn't finalise them?

I read repeatedly on the internet and hear it also in my real life: Even if the ending year was beautiful, much of the planned things were procrastinated and ultimately not done.

Of course, it is understandable that it is not easy to deal with all projects in combination with the widespread stress and the fully-filled schedules.

However, I thought about this fact and I could imagine that there is an additional reason for procrastination.

I have the impression that fear also plays a major role in this context, especially the fear of making mistakes or failing.

If fear should also be responsible for procrastination, then I think this most regrettable, because I still find it not only human, but above all also very instructive to make mistakes.

Therefore, I would like to thank you not only for your loyalty, and if you run your own blog, for your creativity and perseverance. I wish you a wonderful and healthy New Year in which nothing prevents you from starting your projects and bring them to a close!

And luckily I didn't procrastinate it among several possibilities to put on finally my blue velvet dress on Christmas Eve - and as it currently seems, I'm going to wear at least on New Year's Eve my long-planned outfit ...
